Job Description
We’re a growing land investing company looking for a Cold Caller / Acquisition Manager to join our acquisitions team. This role is fully remote and ideal for someone with excellent English clarity, a bubbly personality, and strong communication skills. You’ll be the first point of contact with landowners, sparking conversations that uncover seller motivation and setting up appointments for our acquisition managers.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls to landowners using our dialing system.
- Build quick rapport and engage in natural, friendly conversations.
- Qualify leads by asking discovery questions and noting seller motivation.
- Handle objections smoothly and professionally.
- Set appointments and pass qualified leads to acquisition managers.
- Follow up with prospects as needed.
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently booking daily and weekly qualified appointments.
- Sellers describe you as approachable, personable, and easy to talk to.
- Conversations flow naturally without sounding robotic or scripted.
- Helping the team close profitable land deals.
Requirements
- English fluency: Near-native clarity (B2–C1). Must be easily understood by U.S. landowners.
- Personality: Bubbly, confident, talkative, natural-sounding—not robotic or telemarketer-like.
- Prior cold calling, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
- Reliable internet and quiet working environment.
- Ability to work afternoons/evenings U.S. Central Time.
Hours
- Central Time (CST/CDT)
- 11:00 AM–8:00 PM CT (afternoons preferred)
Compensation
- Base pay + commissions and performance bonuses
